Write for The Michigan Historical Review

The Michigan Historical Review welcomes submissions relating to Michigan’s political, economic, social, and cultural history. The editor also welcomes manuscripts in American, Canadian, and Midwestern history that explore important themes related to Michigan’s past. Articles should range from approximately 5,000 to 15,000 words and must be submitted electronically as a Microsoft Word document to review@hsmichigan.org. Submissions should be double spaced with endnotes in Chicago Style (17th edition). Full-length articles receive a double-blind peer review. Research notes and documents are reviewed in-house.
