Michigan History Moment

Michigan History Moment® is a weekly three-minute radio program that focuses on people, places, and events in Michigan’s past and airs on radio stations throughout the state. The program is produced internally by HSM staff and features stories from Michigan History and Chronicle magazines. 

Our program is currently hosted on several stations listed below. In addition to catching us "on air" across Michigan, we have a few selected stories available here on our website. Check them out at the bottom of this page!

Where Can I Listen?

Our Michigan History Moment segments are shared with a growing list of radio stations, including the ones below: 

  • WAUS in Berrien Springs
  • WNMU in Marquette (with repeaters throughout the Upper Peninsula)
  • WZTK in Alpena
  • WCMU in Mt. Pleasant (with repeaters in northern lower Michigan)
  • WTCM in Traverse City
  • WSGW in Saginaw/Bay City
  • WLDN in Ludington
  • WMLQ in Manistee
