What does "Household" mean?
"Household" denotes all members of family that reside within the same home.
For example, a married couple such as John and Jane Smith would only need to sign up for one Household Membership in order to share all of our benefits.
What is an Enhanced Household Membership?
In addition to all of the benefits of our Household Memberships, we also offer an enhanced option for those who would like to receive even more history material. This option includes the addition of The Michigan Historical Review, a biannual academic journal with the latest in Michigan history discourse in the academic community.
This membership option is available to all for just $10 more than the Household Membership option. Learn more and enhance your membership today with our membership form.
How does my membership support HSM?
"Tune In" to Weekly Lectures
Our popular History Hounds Lectures Series is a fan-favorite membership benefit. Each week on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we offer a one-hour lecture on a history topic presented by a wide variety of historians and content experts from across Michigan and beyond. Past topics have included military history, shipwrecks and other maritime topics, famous people from Michigan's past, nostalgic blasts from the past like the history of Faygo pop, and so much more.
