The History Hero Award
About the Award
The History Hero award is bestowed by the executive leadership team of the Historical Society of Michigan to a person who, while usually not working directly in the history field, has made significant and lasting contributions that align with the mission of the Historical Society of Michigan and who has given a lifetime of dedication to the preservation and promotion of Michigan’s rich and storied history. The award is usually presented at one of HSM's history conferences.
