Green Oak Township Historical Society

Organized in 1974, the Green Oak Township Historical Society maintains the Heritage Museum as well as 1856 Green Oak Township Hall. The original meeting room being restored for public activities.

The society’s collections include cemetery records, family histories, early tax records, histories of eight one-room schools in township, a growing library, and many artifacts from 1800s.
