Bellaire Area Historical Society
The Bellaire Area Historical Society brings together those interested in history–especially the history of the Bellaire area. The society discovers, collects, and preserves all types of artifacts that illustrate the history of the area, and shares with all who are interested.
The society’s collection includes original copies of newspapers (1885 to present), “Woodenware” products (produced 1879-1905), school pictures, history of several one-room schools, cemetery records, obituaries, materials from “Fisherman’s Resort” on Lake Bellaire, and copies of Antrim County Atlases of 1897 and 1910.
