HSM Library (Members Only)

The HSM Library is for use by HSM MEMBERS ONLY.  Volumes may be consulted only onsite at our office in Lansing, Michigan.

Our library contains monographs relating to Michigan’s history, which have been collected by the Society over the years.  While not comprehensive, it is a helpful resource. Access to it is one of the many benefits of HSM membership.

Items in the HSM library do not circulate. They cannot be taken out of our reading room or obtained via interlibrary loan.

Our library reading room and education facility is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily unless other events are scheduled in the space. Appointments are recommended.
