Programs
The Historical Society of Michigan hosts a variety of programs that help further the understanding of Michigan history. Michigan History Day encourages a younger generation to preform self-directed research on the subject, while the Society’s Training Workshops offer a continued learning experiences for both history enthusiasts and professionals.
The Society also organizes recognition programs such as the Centennial Farm Program and Milestone Awards, as well as the State History Awards to celebrate the individuals and organizations that aid in the preservation of Michigan’s history.
