The 136th Annual Meeting and State History Conference is scheduled for October 15-17, 2010 in Frankenmuth, MI. The conference is hosted by the Frankenmuth Historical Association and sponsored by the Wallace and Irene Bronner Family Charitable Foundation, the Frankenmuth Community Foundation and the William and Dorothy Zehnder Foundation.
Hotel Information - Bavarian Inn Lodge is the conference hotel. A special rate of $109.00 is available for conference attendees. To make a hotel reservation call (888) 775-6343. When reserving, please ask for the "Historical Society of Michigan Rate" to get the special room rate.
Exhibitor Information - The State History Conference welcomes exhibitors. Please review the State History Conference Exhibitor Packet that includes a letter and an exhibit application form.

Regular conference fees include the Friday awards reception and banquet at Zehnder's, Saturday refreshments and luncheon keynote session, Sunday morning session and all regular sessions. Saturday DAY-ONLY registration includes all Saturday daytime sessions and lunch.
Pre-conference workshop, tours and the Saturday evening visit to the Frankenmuth Brewery are additional.
You must register at the REGULAR Conference rate in order to attend the State History Awards Banquet on Friday night.
Saturday Day-Only registration only includes the daytime sessions and the luncheon keynote on Saturday. It does not include the Saturday evening dinner.
The Saturday evening dinner at Frankenmuth Brewery, the pre-conference workshop and tours #1, #2 and #3 are available at additional registration costs.
No refunds after October 8, 2010.

This statewide Michigan studies conference is aimed at K-12 teachers and administrators, college and university educators and local historical groups. The conference will increase the quality and quantity of Michigan state and local history teaching and promote their incorporation into the social studies curriculum.
