Our collection contains 800 letters written by Frederic Baraga, over 1000 letters to him from various people, such as Schoolcraft, Mary Penny, Ramsey Cooks, and others. Materials relating to the life of Bishop Baraga, the Chippewa, Ottawa and the American Fur Company.
