Established in 1969 to preserve the history of Lapeer County and present it to the public through programs, materials and exhibits, and to establish a museum to exhibit artifacts relevant to that purpose.
Open May 25 through August, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Archive hours are by appointment.
Collections include the 1892 Sachs Home with artifacts and photos of the area.
