  • Participated in efforts to save the Kreger House
  • Replaced the museum roof
  • Conducted three school group programs
  • Franklin History - West Maple and Country Day
  • Ben Franklin - Country Day
  • Raised $24,000 in capital funds
  • Created a new web site - franklin-history.org
  • Conducted 2 cemetery tours
  • Conducted two Historic District tours
  • Conducted the plant sale
  • Published two issues of the Kite & Key
  • Sold chestnuts at Winterfest
  • Hosted a meeting of the Questers
  • Conducted oral history interviews with Marion Green and Dick & Bernie Evans
  • Purchased Historic Franklin Village tumblers for resale
  • Held a landscaping planning meeting in March, 2007
  • Began work on Native Plant Garden
  • Held a Lawrence Tech landscaping work day
  • Held an April landscape work day
  • Facilitated Will Ashbaugh's Eagle Scout project of lengthening the pathway

Historical Society Meetings are on the second Thursday of every month at 7 P.M. at the Franklin Historical Museum 26165 Thirteen Mile at Kirk Lane
