22nd Annual Pasta Dinner (May 3, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
Held at the VFW Hall at 35011 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore. The event will be catered by Mark Miller of Culinary Expressions. Dinner will be served at 5:30-6:30 and the Meal will consist of two pastas, salad, bread, and homemade desserts. There will be a 50/50 raffle and auctions at the event. Tickets are a donation of $15.00 in advance or $20.00 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Chesterfield Township Treasurer’s Office or from any member.
Ste. Claire Voyageurs and Living History (June 2-3, 2018 Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. -4 p.m.)
We will host the Ste. Claire Voyageurs, French Fur Trade re-enactors, 1750 era, in a living history encampment on the Village green, to help promote the learning and understanding of the Great Lakes fur trade era. Also, Macomb County at 200 Living Historians will tell the story of Macomb County’s history from the early days of the fur trade through the war on global terror, with period clothing, encampments, and displays. Children’s activities provided. Entrance fee is a donation of $1 per adult or $2 per family. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
World War II Re-enactment (July 14-15, 2018 Saturday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00-3:00)
We will host the Michigan Military Technical Society in a World War II re-enactment of Operation Cobra. Operations Cobra was the code-name for an offensive launched by the United States Army 7 weeks after the D-Day landing during the Normandy Campaign (Operation Overlord) of World War II. It started July 25, 1944 and ended July 31, 1944. The event will feature both an Allied & Axis encampment for public displays with two public battles (11 a.m. and 2 p.m.) on Saturday and one (1 p.m.) on Sunday. Military Vehicles will be on display and various vendors will be onsite. Children’s activities are provided. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Entrance fee is a donation of $1.00 per person or $2.00 for a family.
Old Time Family Picnic (August 11-12, 2018 Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Pack your picnic basket and join us for an Old Time day of food, fun & games for the whole family. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Entrance fee is a donation of $1.00 per person $2.00 for a Family
Heritage Days (DATE CHANGED to September 8-9, 2018, Saturday and Sunday 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
There will be horse rides and photos. Children’s activities provided. Craft Show and vendors, classic and antique cars. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Entrance fee is a donation of $1 per adult or $2 per family.
Harvest Dinner (October 25, 2018, Thursday 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.)
The Harvest Dinner will be held at Zuccaro’s Banquet Center, 46601 N. Gratiot. Dinner will be served at 6:15. Entertainment and Auctions. Tickets are a donation of $30.00 and may be purchased at the Chesterfield Township Treasurer’s Office or from any member.
Open House (December 7, 2018, Friday 6:30 p.m.)
The schoolhouse, log cabin, and chapel will be open at 6:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Township’s tree lighting ceremony. We will serve hot chocolate and cookies.
