21st Annual Pasta Dinner (May 3, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)

Held at the VFW Hall at 35011 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore.  The event will be catered by Mark Miller of Culinary Expressions. The Meal will consist of two pastas, salad, bread, and homemade desserts. Tickets are a donation of $10.00 in advance or $15.00 at the door.  Tickets may be purchased at the Chesterfield Township Treasurer’s Office or from any member. Dinner served 5:30-6:30.


St. Claire Voyageurs (June 3-4, 2017  Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. -4 p.m.)

We will host the St. Claire Voyageurs, French Fur Trade re-enactors, 1750 era, in a living history encampment on the Village green, to help promote the learning and understanding of the Great Lakes fur trade era.  The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 54 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. A donation of $1 per adult or $2 per family is requested.  Food and drink will be available for purchase.


Michigan Log Cabin Day (June 25, 2017)

The Log Cabin and all other buildings in the Village will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.


World War II  Re-enactment  (July 8-9, 2017,  Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

We will host the Michigan Military Technical Society in a World War II re-enactment of Operation Cobra.

Operation Cobra was the code-name for an offensive launched by the United States Army 7 weeks after the D-Day landing during the Normandy Campaign (Operation Overlord) of World War II.  It Started July 25, 1944 and ended July 31, 1944.  The event will feature both an Allied & Axis encampment for public displays with two public battles (11 a.m. & 2 p.m.) on Saturday and one (1 p.m.) on Sunday.  Military vehicles will be on display and various vendors will be on site.

The Historical Society is suggesting a donation of $1.00 per adult or $2.00 per family. Food and drink will be available for purchase.


Civil War Re-enactors (August 12-13, 2017 at 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

We will host the 15th Michigan Volunteer Infantry, the 8th Arkansas Infantry, and the 102nd U.S.C.T.  The re-enactors will participate in a living history encampment, including battle skirmishes (11 a.m. & 2 p.m.) and cannon firings.  A donation of $1.00 per adult or $2.00 per family is requested. Food and drink will be available for purchase.


Heritage Days (September 16-17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

There will be horse rides with a take home photo (by donation only), games and crafts for the children, music, craft demonstrations, candle making, antique engine drag sawing and corn grinding, classic and antique cars.

A donation of $1 per adult or $2 per family is requested.  Food and drink will be available for purchase.


Harvest Dinner (October 26, 2017)

The Harvest Dinner will be held at Zuccaro’s Banquet Center (46601 N. Gratiot) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:15. Entertainment, live auction, silent auction, and door prizes.  Music by : Wood & Hood feat. Special guest.

Tickets are a donation of $25.00 in advance and may be purchased at the Chesterfield Township Treasurer’s Office or from any member. Tickets may be purchased at the door for a donation of $30.00.


Open House (December 1, 2017)

The school will be open at 6:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Township’s tree lighting ceremony. We will serve hot chocolate and cookies.
