The Allegan County "Old Jail" Museum & Historical Society is located in Allegan Michigan.
June-September hours are Friday from 2pm-5pm, and Saturday from 10am-3pm. October-May hours are by appointment. The rest of the year's hours are Tuesday from 9:30am-2pm (please call first).
Collections feature Civil War General Benjamin Pritchard, captor of Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy. Special collections include several period rooms and displays, a large photographic collection and written local histories.
